NUDGE Terms of Use

NUDGE is an independent student project. It is not run or endorsed by Central Mindanao University. These terms are a working draft and will be reviewed and updated before any wider launch.
Who can use NUDGE
- You must be 18 years old or older.
- You must be a CMU student.
- Giving a false age or false student status is against these terms and can lead to a ban.
How NUDGE works
You can meet people for study, friendship, or dating. You can chat only after you both like each other for a shared purpose. We do not promise you will find a match.
Be respectful and safe
- Use your own photos and honest details.
- No harassment, threats, hate, sexual pressure, scams, or impersonation.
- No pornographic, sexual, or sensual content. This means no sexual or suggestive messages, requests, jokes, or pictures, in chat or on your profile. NUDGE is for study, friendship, and respectful dating. Messages that break this rule are blocked, and repeated attempts can pause your chat or lead to a ban.
- Do not share phone numbers, social media accounts, e-mail addresses, links to other apps, QR codes, or any other way to contact someone outside NUDGE. This applies to everyone.
- Meet people in public places and tell a friend. Block and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
Reports and bans
You can report any profile or message and block anyone, for free. We review reports as soon as we can. If you break the rules we may warn you, limit your account, suspend it, or ban it. If you think we made a mistake, you can appeal.
Your account and content
You are responsible for what you post. You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may remove content or accounts that break these terms.
No guarantees
NUDGE is provided as it is. We do not check what people say about themselves, so use good judgement. We are not responsible for what other users do.

Premium (optional)
Premium adds filters, who liked you, Backtrack and the ability to share contact details (phone number, social accounts, links) in chat; free accounts cannot. If you share contact details, you do so at your own risk, and NUDGE cannot protect you once a conversation moves off NUDGE. Plans: Weekly ₱29 (7 days), Monthly ₱79 (30 days), Yearly ₱349 (1 year). You pay by sending the exact amount by GCash, Maya or Landbank and then sending your receipt in the app. Premium starts once the receipt is confirmed and lasts for the plan period; it does not renew by itself. All sales are final and there are no refunds. Premium never changes our safety rules, and we may remove it from an account that breaks the rules.
